viyali ( වියළි ) Teledrama 

Based on Shanti Dissanayake's novel Dadamankada, the dry drama directed by Chandana Gal Bandara, produced by Chandana Jayasinghe, produced by Chandana Jayasinghe, scripted by Samantha Kumara Gamage and edited by Indika Jayawardena, this drama is telecast every weekend from 8.30 pm for half an hour. The first broadcast here was on May 12, 2024.

Mala (Tharindi)

"Viyali"play Mala character is seen as its basic and important character. In that play, Mala is considered to be a female character who recreates the complexity of the female smile, the oppressions in the society and personal understandings. Mala is shown as one of a group of women who are oppressed by the traditional rules and policies of the society. She tries to live amidst the rifts and complexities between her family members and the society.To show the protest in her character, the nexus between her personal goals and social pressure, her personal feelings and will to decide are brought to light.

Kaluwa (Asanka)

The character of the dry drama Kaluwa is one of its main characters. The black belongs to the lower stratum of the population, subjected to terrible pressures and helplessness in the society.His life continues to be full of suffering, and he tries to win life against the unfair practices of society.Kalua appears as a complex character in the play, and his behavior and dialogue reveal his inner struggle and social constitution.
